Coming to you live from my phone so we’ll save my rants about the shitstorm we’re living in for next week.
Reading. Finished The Heart’s Invisible Furies. Currently reading The Financial Diaries. Picked up Ghettoside, Lincoln in the Bardo and Chuck Klosterman’s X. Don’t forget Show Us Your Books on Tuesday!
Watching. Stranger Things 2 (hot mess of a plot but if you don’t love Steve now something is wrong with you) and bingeing the final season of Longmire this weekend.
Listening. Or attempting to listen to some new podcasts. Specifically Professional Book Nerds and A Murder on Orchard Street. No verdict yet but I’ll get back to you.
Drinking. All the hazelnut coffee I can. I don’t know why. But I can’t stop.
Celebrating. The fact that my cat survived over 48 hours on the streets. Last Saturday, an in-home vet came to the house to give the cat a rabies shot (necessary in the event adopting another dog is in the future) and, without going into too much detail, she traumatized the fuck out of my cat. As soon as she had the opportunity, Boots took the hell off, spent a night outside in the pouring rain, and came home late Monday after I spent 2 solid days in hysterics. It was nice to stop crying and finally get some sleep.
Laughing.
Have a great weekend! This is the last one until January that I have no plans and I am going to love every single minute of it. See you on Tuesday for the best day of the month (and you might see some changes, too)!

Hahaha that to do list!!! I am glad that your cat came back. I cant even imagine how distraught you probably felt while she was gone. I saw the photo you posted of her when she came back just chilling out not giving AF that you were worried sick for two days. Cats, am I right??? Hope you have a great weekend!

I love a happy ending so I’m so happy that Boots came back home, safe and sound. I would have been a hysterical mess too because I am heavily co-dependent on my cat. 😀 I can’t wait to see the new changes. Hehehe. I’m such a nerd.

So happy Boots is back. Animals get bugs up their asses just like we do!
I freaking love Steve so much.

Yay, Boots! Glad she came back without a care in the world. Haven’t started season 2 of Stranger Things yet – I know I’m going to binge the whole season so I’m trying to find a block of time to get several episodes in. Loved Longmire! I read the first book in the series after seeing the first 3 seasons – pretty good and I’m not really a fan of westerns. Happy Friday and have a good weekend!

Oh gosh… so glad your cat is ok. That gave me anxiety just thinking about it.
STEVE!!!!!!!! How stinkin’ adorable is he with those kids? So redeemed himself <3

Oh, your poor cat! I’m glad they are home and safe now though. I really want to read Lincoln in the Bardo at some point. I hope it’s a good one for you! I feel like I have something going on every single weekend until the end of the year at this point. haha Ah well, it should be fun!

Whoa… So glad Boots came home! That’d be so rough.
We’re away from home right now and my biggest fear is that a dog gets away from the sitter while we’re out of state UGH.

Oh noo, I’m so sorry to hear about Boots, but so glad she came home! I started Lincoln in the Bardo earlier this year and have been meaning to get back to it all year– hopefully in the next couple of weeks because I really enjoyed what I had read so far.
