Hi reader friends! There’s no recap from me this month due to a work trip and returning from that to a vet emergency. Everything should be back to normal next month, and I’ll cover all of my books then. I’m looking forward to reading all of your posts, though, and adding some of your recents reads to my TBR.

Oh no, sorry to hear about the emergency vet visit! We had a similar issue over Labor Day weekend. My cat had been very sluggish and then there was blood in his stool so we rushed him to the vet.He’d had surgery over the summer due to crystals in his bladder which could have killed him if we hadn’t caught it in time, so we’ve been extra watchful. Luckily it turned out to be just some inflammation of his bladder lining and they put him on some painkillers. He was high as a kite for like 3 days! So yeah, I totally understand. Hope your pup is on the mend!
