Let me begin this post by making a declaration: I. Love. My. Meds.
I never thought I would enjoy taking medication, considering what happened the last time I was on depression meds, but this one? Is spectacular. I still don’t feel 100% like myself but I feel 100% better than I did at this time last week so that’s a huge improvement (well, any improvement over feeling like you live in the bottom of a black hole in the deepest part of the Earth is significant improvement). What this means for blogging is that I still suck as a blogging friend; however, I can actually look at my Google Reader without having an anxiety attack. So that’s good. And it also means that I’m caught up on about 75% of my blogging obligations, with a self-imposed deadline of next week to complete the rest. So that’s really good.
I still have a substantial amount of behind the scenes work to do, as well as decide the future of Daily Money Shot, but we can talk about that another time. For now, let’s just talk about some of the excellent and enjoyable posts I read this past week (and I few I wrote for others):
- Blog Commenting Etiquette Basics from Modest Money
- In Defense of Gold Diggers from My Broken Coin
- The Power of “Unlimited” from From Shopping to Saving
- 7 Financial Hacks to Avoid from The Free Financial Advisor
- Should You Pay Off Loans Early from Ready For Zero
- The Real Reason You Fail at Budgeting from DollarVersity
- What NOT To Be Ashamed Of on The Debt Princess
- Ashamed of Your Debt? Me, Too on Enemy of Debt
- Dig Deep to Make Your Budget Work on A Straight Talk on Debt (part of CareOne Credit)

Wow! I made the list! Thanks for mentioning my post. I see what people like Carrie and Erin are doing and think maybe I’m an underachiever because I’m happy just being able to write on the blog every day.

I am glad the meds are working. I am not a big believer in medication, but if you can see a big difference, then it all good. 🙂
Thank you for the mention.
