I spend more time than I should publicly admit reading other people’s blogs and websites. I can’t help it. There’s just so much out there that is informative, entertaining, and engaging. I wish I could share them all with you but since I can’t, here are a few of this week’s favorites:
Personal finance posts I wish I had written
3 Financial Rules That Should Be Broken–I love Carrie, and I think she makes so great points here. Honestly? I’m guilty of breaking all of these rules.
I’m Bored So I’m Giving Away $25–the title says it all. My good friend Eric is giving away $25. Go. Enter. Hopefully you’ll win!
How To Always Know What’s Going On In Your Office–Money Beagle is one of my favorite bloggers and the fact that he now provides a practical and legitimate way to spy on your co-workers and management makes me like him even more!
I Don’t Mind Staying Single. Really–Andrea, in her always entertaining way, makes a great argument for why she doesn’t date.
Saving Money Tip: Manual Upgrade–I’ve only been recently introduced to Sustainable Life, but Jeff’s post on how to upgrade your smartphone on your own makes me sad that I haven’t been reading his blog longer!
Non-personal finance posts and sites you must read
All I Want for Christmas Is An Easy Bake Meth Lab at The Problem With Young People Today Is…–while you’re there, read more of his blog. Then read some more. Then share it with others.
Thankful Rolls at The Girl Who Ate Everything–a nice accompaniment to my take back Thanksgiving campaign. Also, most of her recipes make me really hungry. They’ll probably make you hungry, too, so read with caution!
Cake Wrecks–all of it. The whole site. Everything. I have been reading it for years and it just keeps getting better.
Dear Photograph–This is a relatively new site but it is amazingly cool. I love the emotions behind the pictures and the accompanying notes. And the pictures are pretty damn cool, too.
I’m all over the place
When I’m not reading other people’s blogs, I’m lucky enough to staff write for some great sites. Here’s where else you can find me:
Richly Reasonable–this week I wrote about money games for your iPhone
Go Be Rich–I discuss the plague of late fees
Dining Out Challenge–my explanation as to how I would like to save money in restaurants

Thanks, you posted some blogs I have not been to and they look interesting. I spend a lot of time reading what’s out there, too and am always looking for good reads.
