Another depression filled week in the books. Let’s see what happened:
-
- Finished American Youth and The Girl from Home. Both were less than stellar but not awful. Currently reading The Never-Open Desert Diner. Picked up nothing new from the library and am ghosting NetGalley. #sorrynotsorry
- Preparing my list for Erin and Dani’s reading challenge. It mostly consitutes NetGalley books since I have several of those and a long flight to and from Phoenix. Long flight=eBook reading because eBooks save space and weigh less. Not sure if those kinds of books count but #idowhatiwant
- Continued to spend ridiculous money on refreshing my makeup (bought some blush, liquid eyeliner, and new nail polish) but at least I had coupons and sales and also bought some drugstore brands. I think NOW I’m done. Also spent money almost daily on iced coffee. I could save myself time and energy and gas if I just made a big ass pitcher at home so maybe #weekendgoals
- Listening to Skillet’s newest:
- No internet reads again this week. I just don’t have the energy and if I haven’t commented on your blogs or responded to your comments on mine please know that I want to but when I sit down to do it, I get overwhelmed and just say fuck it.
- Funnies: Season 2 of Bloodline releases today! If you need me for the next few days, you know where to find me.

Less than stellar books are so disappointing.
The uterus meme is so true, rude!

I’m having some depressions issues lately, too. And now all I want to do is lie around at home watching Bloodline. Also, I thoughts to myself “where have I heard of The Never Open Desert Diner?” and finally realized that of course it was from your Judging the Covers post. Duh.

Amen on the restroom hand washing.
I have been making our own coffee, iced coffee, hot tea, and iced tea for years. Saves a ton. Happy Memorial Day weekend.
Love. Steph’s. Momma.

LOL @ that last meme. For real, just wash your hands….doesn’t matter where you went. I have a stack in my netgalley shelf that I am going to clear off in the next few weeks. So many books!!! I am sure they will be glad to get all my reviews…finally. Oops. Hope you have a great weekend!

ugh yes to that tshirt, but can we also add ‘and not make a mess like you are 5 years old’? sometimes i go into bathrooms and i think there is no way an adult made this mess.. so gross.
i hope netgalley/kindle books count because i am travelling next month and won’t be taking any real books… i say that now but they somehow always end up in my bag. i don’t know how.
i hope you have a good weekend Jana.

Sorry to hear your depression is so much in love with you that it can’t leave you. 🙂 It’s truly the worst leech ever and sorry it’s still hanging around and causing problems. Love the funnies, especially #2 and #3. And what does it say about me that I live alone and my house is always a disaster. I blame my depression, which to be fair, is only partially true. But since depression ain’t fair – it’s taking all the damn blame.
