I’d say something like “thanks for the question” and then move on to another topic.
I’d say something about how important family is to me and then ask a different question.

A: I am happy with one; if you have one as difficult as my first one-you don’t roll the dice again.
Depending on who it is, I’d straight-face a: are you hoping to throw me a baby shower/babysit/nanny?

I would say that is none of their business. As someone who doesn’t have children yet I get asked this all the time and just politely tell people it’s not their concern.
Q- “Don’t you think it’s time to have another child”?
A- Are you out of your f****** mind? Have you even met my daughter? No thanks, one is definitely enough of a battle.
PS- I love my kid, don’t get me wrong, but she has been possessed or something lately; so that’s what I’d honestly reply with.

A: Sure. As long as you and your husband (or wife) are ready and want another child, it might be time. Why are you ask me this?
[I understand that question really meant, that someone is asking “me” that “I” should have another child. But I would answer it like this to let them know what it is not their business đ ]
